Researchers seeking to elevate their grant application skills and scientific writing benefited from a free webinar on April 22nd. Imperial College London and CIT UPC, part of the EU-funded Hybrid Neuro project, hosted the event titled "Public Calls Applications and Scientific Writing." Prof. Dario Farina from Imperial College London shared insights into key aspects of scientific writing, drawing on his vast experience as a researcher. Among the most valuable topics discussed were useful tips to start drafting papers efficiently and identifying the appropriate journal for your work. The second part, led by Dr. Juan Pérez from CIT-UPC, focused on European public calls applications. Dr. Pérez provided an excellent overview of the Horizon Europe research funding program and explained effective strategies to strengthen applications and secure funding for research projects. Do not miss the opportunity to watch the webinar again or if you missed it in the Hybrid Neuro YouTube channel.
